(EuroHandelsinstitut e.V.)
EHI conducts research and education for the retail industry. This
European Organization offers a website in Duetsch and English.
Its clients include wholesale businesses, retail businesses,
the consumer industry, and the capital goods industry. Research
focuses on information and communication technology, sales and
promotion, shop design, security, quality assurances, and payment
systems. The updates and results of this research can be obtained
through publications and conferences. The opportunity to visit
Japanese state-of-the-art stores and meet with distinguished
lecturers is also available to EHI members.
ISP
(Institute of Store Planners)
This national organization holds monthly chapter meetings that gives
the opportunity for store planners, designers, visual merchandisers,
associate planners, educators, contractors, and suppliers to
network and discuss trends in retail design and other related
topics. To recognize excellence in the field design competitions
have been instituted in this organization.
