"How to Find the Right Display"
By Kellita Weber
Presentation says it all. Whenever anyone asks me what my secret
to success is, I tell them, "it's not the product that sells,
it's the display." Since this has been proven, there are important
steps to take before rashly buying any display. The life expectancy
is incredibly important. The customers are unaware of why they
want your product. Therefore, they are naive as to how to treat
your display.
Consequently it is essential to have a display with easy flexibility
and adaptability. Both flexibility and adaptability will ensure
a longer lasting life expectancy. Next, it is crucial to decide
the look for you. What do you want to convey to your customers?
Who is your target consumer? These kinds of questions will help
determine your merchandising goal. It will also help you decide
what kind of materials and color requirements are needed. At
the same time, availability of space is vital to the overall
style of your display. These issues are overwhelming to the
many retailers. As a result there are manufacturer's out there
to assist you in any of the above areas.
Choosing the manufacturer of your display is the most important
process in creating your display. Things to inquire about a
manufacturer include: past experience, industry reputation,
years in business, cost and responsibility. Thousands of displays
are bought and sold each day, but to really be content with
your display, you must trust your manufacturer. Try to choose
one with a reputable name. Find out other previous jobs and
what the success factors of the displays were. Considering these
points will get you closer and closer to the one manufacturer
that is perfect for you.
